A research report from the HSE makes some recommendations on health surveillance of silica-exposed workers. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it says the development of health surveillance for Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) exposed workers should be based upon the findings of appropriate workplace risk assessments.
