ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FOR BACK PAIN

Research published in the British Medical Journal suggests that Alexander technique can be highly effective in treating chronic or recurrent low back pain. Back pain is the second biggest cause of sickness absence in the UK and Alexander technique may be something readers would like to investigate further in their occupational health programmes. (However, if back pain problems exist in the workplace it is equally important to deal with any occupational root causes to prevent future occurrences).
