WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE ‘SERVICES’ DIRECTIVE?

The ‘Services’ Directive was adopted in December 2006. It creates a free market for the EU services sector, to match existing markets for goods and people. Member States have three years to transpose the Directive, which should enter into force by the end of 2009.
