The HSE has issued an operational circular (OC217/05) to its inspectors on enforcement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 in premises where HSE has enforcement responsibilities. These are the nuclear and shipbuilding sectors and - perhaps most significantly – construction sites.
