Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a medically unexplained illness characterised by severe disabling fatigue and other symptoms. NHS Plus has recently published substantial ‘evidence-based’ guidelines on the occupational management of CFS on how to support individuals with CFS back into, and to remain in, work. In Monitor’s experience, evidence-based health guidelines constitute some of the most useful advice around.
